Everyday in Africa there are thousands of children experiencing that reality - Thankfully God is providing hope for these children!
The Starehe Children's Home is a home for orphaned, abandoned, and HIV positive children located in Mwanza, Tanzania.
There are currently over 120 kids at Starehe ranging in age from 2 months to 18 years. It is the only orphanage in a large area which accepts babies – even as young as one day old. All children are received at the home through the Tanzania Social Services Department.
CONTAINER PROJECT
THANK YOU to everyone who donated much needed supplies to Starehe! Our 40 foot container arrived near the end of December 2009. The team of 5 women that visited Starehe in June 2010 had the priviledge of opening a "store" for the kids and they all got to pick out new clothes!
